The Strand Tote Bag

I see their tote bags everywhere—strolling through city streets or navigating busy airports. So, it was a true honor when NYC’s legendary bookstore, The Strand, hired me to illustrate a tote bag for their ongoing Artist Series.

I opted to pay a little tribute to my BFF Lizzy, who graciously hired me as the final project of her six year tenure as the store’s merchandise buyer. I’m endlessly grateful to Lizzy for stocking our Lost Lust Supply pins in the store for many years. Look closely and you can spot Lizzy’s likeness quietly judging your book selections.
